LangoDeals is a classified ads marketplace for the Lira and Lango region of Uganda, operated by Hakateq Solutions Limited. By using our website or mobile app, you agree to the following terms.
1. User Accounts
By creating an account, you agree that:
- You will provide accurate personal information (name, phone, email)
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- You must be at least 18 years old to use LangoDeals
- One person may only maintain one account
2. Posting Ads
- You may post a limited number of free ads. Additional ads require a small fee paid via mobile money
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your ad content, photos, and pricing
- Ads must be for legal items or services available in Uganda
- You must not post duplicate, misleading, or spam listings
- LangoDeals reserves the right to remove any ad that violates these terms
3. Prohibited Content
You must not list:
- Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
- Weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
- Adult or explicit content
- Items that infringe on intellectual property rights
- Misleading or fraudulent offers
4. Transactions
- LangoDeals connects buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction between users
- All deals are made directly between buyer and seller
- We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed
- We recommend meeting in safe, public locations for exchanges
5. Payments & Promotions
- Payments for extra listings and ad promotions are processed via MTN MoMo or Airtel Money
- All payments are non-refundable once processed
- Promoted ads receive increased visibility for the duration of the selected plan
6. Messaging
- The messaging system is for communication about listed items only
- You must not use messages for spam, harassment, or solicitation
- LangoDeals may monitor messages to prevent abuse
7. Account Suspension & Termination
LangoDeals reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that:
- Violates these terms
- Engages in fraudulent activity
- Receives repeated reports from other users
- Posts prohibited content
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete Account) or from this page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data including listings, messages, and saved ads.
9. Limitation of Liability
LangoDeals is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions between users. Use the platform at your own risk.

11. Changes
